Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small records that a browser can send with requests to a website. Local storage is a separate browser feature that lets site code keep values on your device between visits. Both can be subject to privacy and device-storage rules depending on their purpose and your location.
The supplied site code does not set cookies or include analytics, advertising, social widgets or third-party embedded media. It can save one preference in local storage only when you explicitly use the control below. This statement describes the site files, not unrelated browser features or external websites.
Your preference
There are no optional tracking tools to enable here. “Essential only” records that choice locally; removing it deletes this site’s preference record. Either way, reading the guides and using the local draft tool remains available.
Storage controls
No preference has been checked yet.
These controls affect this browser and this site origin only. They do not change your email provider, other websites or hosting infrastructure.
What can be stored
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rankroostercompassrn-storage-choice | Stores the value essential-only after your explicit choice | Until removed by you, the browser or the page control |
| Contact draft | Prepares message text in current page memory, not local storage | Normally until the page closes or reloads; browser restoration may vary |
| Departure checklist | Tracks ticks within the current page without deliberate persistence | Current page state; browser restoration may vary |
Copied draft text can remain on the device clipboard until replaced or cleared. A downloaded draft file remains wherever you save it. Neither is removed by the preference button.
Browser and service controls
Your browser lets you inspect site data, block storage and delete records. Private-browsing behaviour varies. If storage is blocked, the preference control reports that it cannot save; the guides still work.
Hosting or security services may have their own technical behaviour. This page does not claim to control infrastructure settings. If you encounter an unexpected cookie or request, send its name and the relevant page address to [email protected], without sending secret values or authentication tokens.
For wider information-handling details and privacy requests, read Information We Hold. Any future optional tools should be described and handled appropriately before they are introduced.
